(5/21/20) A letter from the MN Bishops regarding the resuming of public Mass can be found here. Assumption/St. Anthony's plan will be detailed in a letter and mailed to all parishioners and posted.

(5/18/20) Starting this week, daily Mass will be available to 10 people at each Mass. If you would like to attend daily Mass, please contact either parish office to get on the list (limited to one Mass for each person). You must call and get on the list to attend Mass, walk-ins could put us over the limit. All safety precautions will need to be followed. If you are at risk for complications from COVID, please consider staying home.

(5/1/2020) Latest announcements from the diocese: St. Cloud and New UlmIn light of this latest announcement from St. Cloud, the Assumption Church will be open each day from 12-8PM starting Monday, May 4th. 

(4/27/20) Father Aaron is away this week so there won't be any daily or Sunday Masses uploaded from Assumption or St. Anthony's until next Tuesday, May 5. 

(4/24/20)This weekend's bulletin is another "Home Edition" bulletin that will be mailed out to all parishioners early next week with a letter from Father Aaron. Due to this, a very limited number paper copies will be available at the parishes.

(4/8/20) From Bishop Kettler of the St. Cloud Diocese: After consulting with members of my staff, local health authorities and others, I have decided the following: The suspension of weekday and weekend Masses is extended through Friday, May 15. Church buildings and parish offices should remain closed to the public during this time.

From Bishop LeVoir of the New Ulm Diocese: In consideration of today’s (April 8) extended “Stay at Home” order issued by Governor Tim Walz, I have extended the suspension of all public Masses in the diocese of New Ulm to Monday, May 4, as an effort to slow the rapid spread of the coronavirus.

(4/3/20) Palms were blessed today and will be available to pick up at St. Anthony's starting tomorrow. Assumption parishioners should feel free to pick up palms at St. Anthony's. There will be palms available at Assumption at a later date. Please sanitize your hands before and after taking any palms and be sure to take all that you touch. During this time of uncertainty and uncharted territory for many of us, we want to keep you well informed on what we are doing as a parish and give you as many resources as we can for you at home. This is a time we can all grow closer to God as an individual, as a family, and as a Catholic community.

While so many children are missing formal religious instruction and are unable to attend Mass, MagnifiKid! can be their special guide, accompanying them through each week as they prepare to attend Mass or watch it at home.

Saint Mary's Press is offering FREE resources for elementary students and high school students on their website. 

Kids' Liturgy

St. Mary's Press would like to offer you and the families of your community free access to Kids’ Liturgy, our digitally-led Children's Liturgy of the Word program.

Parents can log in using any internet-connected device and engage their children in the included children's songs, a gospel reading, an active reflection, and prayer for a full liturgical experience.

By presenting the Word in a format and language that children can understand, we can continue strengthen their faith and enliven the whole church community—even as we are apart.

Give Us This Day, a monthly publication centered on the Word of God, is making available at no charge, a digital file of its periodical, which includes daily Mass texts.
